the afternoon sun seeped through the arched rooftop glass.
i whipped out my camera to catch 2 architecture shots. I've been wanting to take such shots for a long time.



met up with Pam, Jaime & Desmond today for high-tea session @ Shaw Towers
1st stop:
Caramel Cafe- i've been wanting to head to caramel cafe ever since me & Michelle came across it's picture on a copy of 8 days.
I did my further homework and yes, it is a place which i would love to take some photos of and try out their desserts (especially their cupcakes)

Whimsical is the term.

Pam have been raving about their Apple pie from our previous conversation at Dome to the time we were tasting it.

Food, Movie & more Food

Kara invited us to her house for a Wedding Helper's Thank You Party @ her house.
we had a great food; - Sarpino's Pizza, Botak Jones spicy fries + Potato Salad, Sauted Mushroom salad , pasta with tomato based swedish meatballs sauce, fruits salad, cakes+pastries, cocktail sausages, Ice-lemon tea, Cognac cocktail called Alize, Sparkling white wine.
It was a time of gathering, photosnapping (got a chance to use her professional DSLR cam) and viewing of their wedding+honeymoon pics.
Few of us were "high" on the drinks which gave quite a potent punch for a afternoon drink. Haha, Oops?
i didn't manage to snap much shots on my own camera as i was busy playing with Kara's DSLR.

Wedding (the bunny) was the attention of the day.

the Gang of 8 waved goodbye to our Host, Hostress and the rest of the helpers, and headed down to J8 for a movie screening of
UP ... Up up and away~!

we enjoyed the show, there was a story plot to the show and...
i Simply LOVE the dog!

what do 3 single ladies do at a Cafe in the evening?
well, we ate, we talked.. and we talked... and than we got our Caffine boost for further talking...
we ended up chatting till the Cafe closes.
Haha, unknowingly, 3 + 1/2 hrs went past

We met up for dinner @ Makan Glutton corner at the open-air hawker next to Esplanade Mall.
Boy do i have a huge appetite tonite! I tried the Mee Goreng set and Kaya Fondue Set, both were more than good.
Tummies filled and here we go.
Trip to the Loo, up the escalators, climbing up the flight of stairs, than running frantically towards the theatre seats as the Ushers gave the Cue "1 more minute to show start!"


it was $$$ bling bling and all abt $500,000.
i've never been sucked into a money obession world for such a time frame!


Totally SINGAPOREAN is the term.

驾车找吃路- Driving, Food Scouting Escapade with Alle

it is a Lazy Saturday afternoon, the Best time to meet up with a friend for a relaxing Brunch/High tea Session.
We decided to go on a 驾车找吃路 food scouting Escapade as my birthday meet-up event since Alle has the keys to a car and control behind the wheels.
Riders Cafe@ Saddle club and PS Cafe@ Dempsey is on my list.

1st stop-> Saddle Club.
depart from: Hougang Street 22 -> head along ..... Bt Timah Road.... Okay we got lost! we drove around for an Hour before we manage to reach there.
Haha, we tickled ourselves with the Irony at our lost of directions for driving and enjoyed the Catching up conversation we had on board the hour ride.

The driveway in, starts transporting us into another country. By the time the car came to a halt, we WERE in another country.
A country-side feel overwhelms us with amazement that such a place even exists in a Bustling City.

How lucky were we, it was full house when we stepped in, but just moments later, an empty Balcony table for 2 was made avail by the departing guests.

We made it in time for their Lunch menu. Food was G-O-O-D! (will comment abt the food on my food blog when im free)



it was a great seating which gave visual accessibility to a view of the Horses

After having our lunch@ Rider's Cafe, our attention was caught by a group of Expats having a Birthday party. Their cheerful voices led us to Mimolette.


oh boy~, i love the decor and Ambience of Mimolette, this goes on my next Chill-out List ;)

We both tunefully agreed on exploring the area.
Hello was greeted to us by the sign;

It was than Nice to meet you, *flashing a friendly smile* by the tree in a tone of pink

and "This way Please" Guiding us the way,
with a briefing on its History

the times when Hostility was Strong and Windows were Shut

to the times when the doors and windows were opened once again to Hospitality

they greeted us Goodbye, See you again

Depart from Bukit Timah Road-> Farrer Road-> Holland Road, arriving at Harding Road.

Colourful Parrots mock at us as we were being led by the signage that point us to a round about detour. Desperation and sweat was clearly reflected on our faces.

We trailed behind them who led to our intended location

which is CLOSED! ....

Okay, change of plans....
House Camp Barracks was my Suggestion - i've been wanting to check the place out!
