Atas Ladies Hang-out!

28 Dec

I finally got a chance to meet up with a dear friend of mine, Alle.
Since we are meeting at 5pm, i thought of going to Canele @ Shaw Centre for High-tea

I think my Sista would yearn to have either one of the above 3 cakes for her wedding

=====================================
I wanted to bring her to another great place called OomPhaTiCo's at Tanglin Mall.
It was still quite early when we left Canele, so we decided that we can walk over to Tanglin Mall.

Just at the tip of Tanglin Shopping Centre, Alle caught sight of the KENKO fish spa and shoulder massage. She was really keen on getting a shoulder rub. So, we got the 30Min Fish spa & 10 Min Shoulder massage package.
It was the second experience for the both of us individually to try. If you are not sure of what Fish Spa is, It is actually a "treatment" where you soak both your feet into a Fish Tank filled with these fishes. These fishes feed on dead skin cells.

This is what the Tank looks like.

The have 3 different tanks, grouping the fishes into Small, Medium and Large.
The picture above is the Medium sized fishes. Feels like a massage
The picture below is the Large sized fishes. Looks so scary right???!!! erm...think i still prefer the medium sized ones.

The irony strike after the Fish Spa. We found Tanglin Shopping Centre, but could not find Tanglin Mall. We got lost! The sky was dark and the only passer-bys were tourists.
I was so paiseh to have to ask tourists for directions in my homeland!
So i packed my pride and went over to the Traders Hotel to enquire with the Concierge.
Haha, i felt so embarrassed, but it was a fun and rare thing for me to be lost as most of the time i have a good sense of direction.

Found Tudor Court and heading towards the right direction.

Finally! *Thhhinggg!* We found Tanglin Mall and OomPhatico's! =D

right from the entrance, you will already start to feel over-whelmed with joy and excitement to step in.....

Once you step in, you will spot the above colourful Chandeliers followed by
the flower prints Sofa.

Stepping inside the dining hall feels like being transported into a fantasy land.

you can't help but feel a warmth within u, but u may try hard to remain calm in this "ahtas" location.

The Pan seared Cod fish was really good

The wine was on Promo. It came so cheap it shocked me! i HAD to get it!
could you guess how much this Spain 2006 white wine cost?
$31, the waitress said to me.
i asked her if it is for a glass?
She said... its for a bottle (including corkage)
OH MY! (i was screaming with disbelief in my heart, but calmly replied her "sure, i'll have a bottle")
It is a really good bottle of wine for such a price range. It is smooth, has a slight tinge of sweetness, and low acidity level

Their service is simply great. All, yes, i said ALL, the staff including the chief has got such a great service attitude. They are so attentive and personal (in a nice comfortable way)
They make you feel like a Regular even on your 1st visit.
My food was served up by the neatly dressed chief. When the waiter noticed we were taking pictures, he offered to take pictures for us.
